Our second quarter meeting of 2018 was an emotional one, with three cancer charities giving presentations about how their organizations help cancer patients and their families through difficult times. The meeting was held at RANGE Kitchen and Tap in Roseville. Wellness Within, Lily Chiquet Strength Foundation, and Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance were the three nonprofit recipients of the evening, and after hearing from the organizations, including an emotional account from a mother whose young daughter died of cancer, our members were in tears and dug into their wallets to make generous contributions to all three organizations. Once again, we exceeded our quarterly goal of raising $10k for charity, raising more than $12k and bringing our total year-to-date donations to $31,000!
