The Power of 100 Women is a Placer County-based organization that brings together women from all walks of life to support local charities in our community. By harnessing the power of women coming together, we can have a much greater impact than any of us could individually.
Members of POW meet quarterly to hear presentations from three nonprofit organizations. Each member commits to donating a minimum of $100 to one of these organizations to create a total donation of $10,000 each quarter or $40,000 annually. These group fundraising efforts allow us to have an impact that we can see in the communities where we live, work, play, and raise our families.
Together we can make a difference.
Special Fundraiser for Local Woman
In mid-December, a local woman’s life was forever changed while she was being a Good Samaritan. Lindsay was driving in her car with her 11-month-old son and 4-year-old daughter when she pulled over to help another woman who had run out of gas. As she was helping, she was hit by a car going full speed, and she lost both of her legs. She has a long road to recovery and can use all the help she can get. Let’s show her that we support her and are proud of the kind deed she was doing!!! If you’d like to donate to help Lindsay and her family, please use the Donate Online button below and write “Lindsay” in the comments on Paypal. Thank you for your support!
